From working alongside his father as a child, to Ford dealerships in North Carolina, to founding The Spa Guy in Gallatin, TN — a life built on hard work, faith, and genuine curiosity about the world.
Billy "The Spa Guy" Stallings has been in the pool and spa business since he was a young child. His father was a pool builder for over 40 years, and Billy worked alongside him building pools and servicing hot tubs while growing up. That foundation never left him.
After graduating high school, Billy went into the car business as a Diagnostic Technician and then Service Manager for a Ford dealership in North Carolina. He worked for Ford from 1984 to 1999 and developed serious diagnostic skills along the way. During that time he also studied Electro-Mechanical Engineering in college.
After leaving Ford, Billy came to the Nashville area and went to work for American Home Design as a Hot Tub Sales, Service, and Delivery person. He handled all of American Home Design's spa work until they quit selling spas entirely.
He then took a role as Vice President of Operations at Four Winds Spa Manufacturing in Smyrna, TN — handling the technical service and warranty departments, working on spa designs, and driving product improvement.
In 2005, Billy founded The Spa Guy Inc. in Gallatin, TN. The company was built on a belief that no one should buy a spa from someone who can't service it. He served as President — not from a corner office, but on the trucks, moving, selling, and working on spas daily alongside his team. At its peak, The Spa Guy had over 10,000 service customers across Middle Tennessee.
Today The Spa Guy brand operates multiple eCommerce websites, including Hot Tub Parts of America and Factory Spa Covers, shipping spa parts and covers nationwide.
Beyond the spa world, Billy is the Founder and Creator of The Tiger Man Karate Dojo and Museum — celebrating the deep connection between Memphis karate culture and rock and roll history. He also films music history documentaries around the world, uncovering stories about Elvis Presley and the legends who shaped American music.
Billy and his wife Lori have been married for over 38 years. They are parents and grandparents, and attend Three Oaks Church in Gallatin, TN. Faith, family, and legacy are the foundation of everything he does.
"I am not some guy in a suit that only focuses on money. I care about my customers and I care about a great experience."
